Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation:
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning and clearing debris, removing obstacles, and ensuring the site is ready for construction activities - Material Handling:
Safely handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Concrete Work:
Assist in the pouring, spreading, and finishing of concrete, as well as the installation of forms and framework.
- Equipment Operation:
Operate basic construction machinery such as jackhammers, drills, and other hand tools under the guidance of experienced operators.
- Support Crew:
Collaborate with the construction crew by providing assistance and support as needed, including helping with the installation of utilities and other construction tasks.
- Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings.
- Site Cleanup:
Ensure the work area is clean and organized at the end of each day, disposing of waste materials and maintaining a safe and orderly construction site.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction or related field is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
